The GEA CompaX semi-hermetic screw compressor is designed to simplify ammonia-based systems. Its shaft seal-free design reduces refrigerant leakage risk, while low vibration and sound levels make it suitable for residential or densely populated environments. Built on over 50 years of screw compressor expertise, the CompaX range supports efficient and reliable ammonia refrigeration.
The CompaX 350 and 400 operate at 2,940 rpm, delivering flow volumes of 321 and 372 m³/h. With speeds up to 6,000 rpm and multi-compressor capability, they provide flexible capacity across applications. These compressors combine the benefits of ammonia with stepless Vi control, a wide speed range, excellent energy efficiency, and high levels of safety and reliability. Thanks to their compact design and high degree of integration, GEA CompaX compressors provide cost-effective, space-saving solutions. The semi-hermetic range ensures reliable, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance performance for a wide variety of cooling applications.
