Starting in the United Arab Emirates, GRADE expanded across the MENA region and beyond, becoming a premier provider of industrial heating and refrigeration solutions. 2006
The beginning of GRADE
GRADE was established in 2006 as a joint venture between Adearest (now part of TIG) and Grasso (now part of GEA), bringing together international refrigeration expertise and strong regional engineering experience. This marked the beginning of GRADE’s journey in delivering industrial cooling and heating solutions across the Middle East and neighboring markets.
2009
Expanding into Jordan
GRADE opened an office in Amman, Jordan, strengthening the company's presence in the Levant region. The new location brought engineering expertise, project support and customer service closer to customers in Jordan and neighbouring markets.
2010
Growing our regional presence
GRADE expanded further with the opening of offices in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Cairo, Egypt. These locations strengthened the company’s ability to support customers and projects across two of the region’s key industrial markets.
2015
Expanding into Pakistan
GRADE continued its geographic expansion with the opening of an office in Lahore, Pakistan. The local presence strengthened access to engineering expertise and refrigeration solutions for customers across Pakistan and neighbouring markets.
2016
Strengthening compressor service capabilities
A dedicated Compressor Service Center opened in Cairo, Egypt, expanding GRADE’s regional service capabilities. The workshop strengthened local support for compressor maintenance, overhaul and servicing while helping customers maintain reliable refrigeration operations.
2022
Expanding into North Africa
GRADE opened an office in Casablanca, Morocco, strengthening its presence across North Africa. The expansion brought the company closer to customers and projects in Morocco and the wider Maghreb region.
2024
GRADE Components FZE is established
GRADE Components FZE was established as a dedicated business unit focused on components sales including GEA compressors, packaged units, chillers, heat pumps, and more. Created to serve contractors of heating and refrigeration solutions across the MENA region, the business unit provides easier access to components and specialized product support for industrial refrigeration applications.
2025
New offices in Cairo and Riyadh
GRADE moved into new offices in Cairo, Egypt, and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supporting the continued growth of its regional operations. The new locations provide modern working environments for growing local teams while strengthening collaboration and customer support.
2026
Celebrating 20 years of GRADE
GRADE celebrates its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of engineering, projects, service and partnerships in industrial cooling and heating. With seven offices across the MENA region and beyond, the company continues to build on its regional presence, technical expertise and long-term customer relationships.
