To further strengthen our Service department, we are seeking a Service Engineer who will be reporting technically to the Service Manager and administratively to the Country Area Manager.
Your tasks
- Perform repair and maintenance work on screw and reciprocating compressors
- Carry out commissioning and start-up of industrial refrigeration plants
- Prepare professional service and assessment reports
- Report formally and informally to the Service Manager
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and contractors
- Troubleshoot and assess refrigeration systems
- Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on-site
- Install and commission refrigeration equipment
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
- Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairs when required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition
- Travel as required for project and service activities
Your profile
- Mechanical Engineering graduate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in ammonia and industrial refrigeration (mandatory)
- Familiar with P&ID, mechanical, and electrical drawings
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, Arabic is an added advantage
- Willingness to travel frequently and work abroad
- Relevant technical qualification
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites frequently and work flexible hours when required
