To further strengthen our Operations department, we are seeking an QA/QC Engineer who will be reporting technically to the Operations Manager and administratively to the Country General Manager.
Your Tasks
- Perform quality assurance, control inspections, and submittal reviews
- Organize, implement, conduct, and manage QA/QC programs in line with the company’s quality policy
- Coordinate document control for technical submittals, drawings, and related documents with the project team and ensure QA/QC validation is completed, including issuing, updating, and recalling controlled documents
- Coordinate all inspections, monitor required tests, and record inspections and tests in accordance with the contract plan and specifications
- Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in areas where discrepancies remain uncorrected and to release stop work orders upon satisfactory correction
- Provide technical support to the Project Manager and guidance to site staff for material submittals, inspection requests, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals
- Ensure that Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) are raised when activities deviate from contract specifications or company practices
- Coordinate with project staff to compile and maintain records of inspections and testing until project completion and ensure proper record retention
- Oversee all site issues related to QA/QC
- Represent the company to third parties for QA/QC issue resolution
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience with strong knowledge of QA/QC in construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of industrial refrigeration work scope with full understanding and implementation of quality standards
- Experience in interpreting mechanical and electrical tests in accordance with applicable codes
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel to different project sites, including extended periods on site
