To further strengthen our Service Sales department, we are seeking a Junior Service Sales Support Engineer who will be reporting to the Service Manager.
Your tasks
- Map customer requirements and co-determine the sales strategy with the Head of Service Sales Support
- Translate customer requests into quotations
- Deliver commercially and technically sound calculations and subsequent quotations
- Ensure accurate quotation tracking and follow-up requirements
- Responsible for own resource planning to meet often demanding and fast-paced timelines
- After receipt of orders, prepare order confirmations and purchase orders, and follow up until shipment of materials
- Provide sales support to branch offices and distributors in the region
- Report both formally and informally to the Service Sales & Service Manager regarding daily business in the assigned region
- Consult with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Collaborate with Service Engineers, Project Managers, and Project Sales Engineers
- Organize project team meetings, in consultation with the Head of Sales Support when required
- Transfer knowledge and apply lessons learned
- Safeguard knowledge by guiding and coaching colleagues within the Service Sales Support team and the Sales department
- Focus on standardization
- Monitor internal and external developments within the discipline
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Refrigeration Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales activities within the Middle East
- Fully familiar with all relevant standards and guidelines, such as EN 378, PED, and PGS 13, including country-specific requirements where applicable
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Arabic, German, and French are an added advantage
- Innovative, creative, and results-driven team player
- Strong commercial, communication, and interpersonal skills
