To further strengthen our Operations, we are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer who will be reporting technically to the Operations Manager and administratively to the Country Area Manager
Your tasks
- Familiar with electrical requirements for industrial system projects
- Read and understand electrical drawings in line with applicable codes
- Assemble, install, and test industrial electrical and electronic wiring systems
- Use test equipment and hand tools to perform assigned duties
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and required adjustments or repairs in compliance with local codes
- Install and troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, and VFDs
- Apply health and safety policies within the scope of work
- Supervise and guide a small team of electricians
- Maintain professional conduct on site and lead by example while following instructions from supervisors
Your profile
- Minimum diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in the electrical trade
- Understanding of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices
- Familiarity with high- and low-voltage electrical systems
- Skilled in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
- Ability to estimate time and material requirements for assigned tasks
- Basic English communication skills
