To further strengthen our Operations, we are seeking an Instrumentation Engineer who will be reporting to the Operations Manager.
Your tasks
- Check all electrical and control design drawings
- Troubleshoot and inspect industrial refrigeration plant control systems
- Train GRADE staff and client technicians and engineers
- Perform required service and maintenance for refrigeration equipment, including electrical, SCADA, and PLC-related faults
- Develop and prepare system programs for projects, including SCADA and PLC programming
- Support commissioning of industrial refrigeration plants
- Manage and coordinate testing and commissioning activities in liaison with project leads, clients, and contractors
- Witness and verify mechanical completion and pre-commissioning activities
- Carry out hands-on dynamic system commissioning
- Manage and coordinate commissioning teams, including subcontractors and vendors
- Provide technical guidance to subcontractors to ensure operational acceptance tests meet required standards
- Coordinate commissioning processes with owners, contractors, and equipment suppliers
- Travel within the MENA region as required
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning industrial refrigeration systems
- Strong knowledge of SCADA programming and on-site troubleshooting
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- Strong understanding of refrigeration products and overall system integration
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to interpret technical documents such as electrical schematics and piping diagrams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
